TEACHING |  My path in ballet is presently focused full time on preparation for the stage, versus the classroom.   

 

Being a late starter to Ballet, I have turned over every stone to gain a professional education of the field as a whole,  and am undergoing in depth study of the respected methodologies of the Russian and Cuban schools.

I am available on a case-by-case basis for stage minded individuals seeking foundational principles of classical technique and / or for classical coaching. 

 

I am also available for serious adult students who want to learn more seriously.

LEVELS PreBallet | Ballet Conditioning | Classical Ballet Levels 1 & 2

My teaching focuses on concentrated, foundational training for professional children, teens & adults. I am available for private study and can also offer foundational workshops in a variety of educational settings. 

​​​

In these classes I focus on the often overlooked foundational principles of turnout, aplomb, placement and foundational artistic concepts that are non-negotiable for professional advancement. These principles are found in the professional conservatory levels of Pre-Ballet (Conditioning & Alignment) and Classical Ballet Levels 1 and 2, which are often glossed over outside of closed-door conservatories.

Targeted focus in these areas can be game changing, and can provide an excellent remedy for foundation-based challenges.

I create conditioning and preparatory programs based on the tested methodologies and syllabii of the Russian and Cuban schools, as well as the body of information I have procured through a lifetime in professional sports and dance practice. This work imparts crucial kinaesthetic awareness, alignment and strength for dancers of all levels.

Body conditioning & physical preparation are two of the most important factors affecting development in Classical Ballet.  ​​​

I have been certified in Preballet, Level 1, 2 and 3 of the Bolshoi Teachers Training.
